In the Northwest
Northwest SEED educates, equips, and empowers communities to develop their own solutions that provide real community benefits. As a non-profit organization, we work directly with communities to identify practical solutions that support a sustainable local economy founded on locally owned energy. |
Solar Washington is a non-profit association of solar energy equipment manufacturers, system integrators, distributors, dealers, designers, consultants, students, and interested citizens. Our mission is to further the development and use of solar energy, and support related technologies. This is accomplished through the exchange of ideas and information, with concern for the economic, environmental, and social fabric of Washington State. |
Solar Energy: Seattle City Light customers are installing solar equipment on their homes and businesses - and in greater numbers every year. Community Solar: Seattle Community Solar is a new program bringing customers together to support an innovative solar project for a sustainable energy future. City Light 's initial project is coming to Seattle's Jefferson Park and will serve as a destination that educates and inspires visitors. It will convey the clear message: Solar Works in Seattle! |

Sustainable Communities ALL Over Puget Sound (SCALLOPS) Sustainable Communities ALL Over Puget Sound is an all-volunteer group of locally-based organizations.
