The Highland Park Improvement Club (HPIC) will receive a donated solar photovoltaic system to generate renewable energy for their facility if enough homes in southwest Seattle neighborhoods choose to install solar electric systems in the coming months.

Mercer Island, like other WA neighborhoods, is adding clean renewable energy to their rooftops
In just three years, 500 homes and businesses have installed solar arrays to produce clean renewable energy for their energy needs through Solarize WA. 500 solar PV installations was not accomplished alone, NWSEED has worked with 32 partners, countless volunteers in 12 communities to launch successful Solarize campaigns. To date, 44 workshops have educated nearly 2,500 WA residents about the process of going solar.
